Da Vinci Code author not getting the same coverage as he used to despite his other novel's intrigue surrounding the new 5TeV.

Media exaggerated, whipped up scifi visions of Big Bangs and black holes, yet they're barely getting a leg up on the Americans in the particle physics race.

..and no mention of the fundamental limits of collider efforts to verify the Standard Model, hence the boom in indirect methods like proton decay detectors.

Is it harder to bamboozle a scientifically lackadaisical public?

Iraq War oddities worth another look or two...

All the appearances of a 'Grand Opening' may be somewhat foisted in a strained propaganda wave on our more naive efforts to ignore such back-page science news.

What are the problems of a Dan Brown science-fiction anti-matter explosives scare?

1) The weapon would have to be used discretely, remain effective and yet not be overdone to the degree it couldn't help catch attention.

2a) It's only exploitation would nonetheless be worked to advantages that would arouse suspicion. What are some possibilities?

2b) Miniaturization, difficulty detecting, evasion from the conventional indications of threat or military hazards, like a large ganged deformable ballistic projectile array just sitting by the side of the road where it sticks out in plain view.

2c) Ease and rapidity of deployment, as in simple enough to toss out a passing car window like a spent package of cigarettes, completely inconspicuous and easy to disguise.

2d) No telltale excavations in road-bed or roadside, disturbed earth or time, manpower and machinery to dig a trench for several hundred pounds worth of high conventional explosives. Impossible to catch in the act, and defying the expected signatures of suspicious activities.

2e) Electronically controlled by remote, or proximity triggered beacon signal, or magnetically attached to vehicles in any combination of device and or beacon for prearranged proximity rendezvous with device; even the proximity of an open channel emission from a passing military vehicle.

2f) Inability of inspectors to screen out from checked vehicles waved through, or personnel patted down through multiple layers of high security checkpoints one by one; plausible 'Maria full of Grace' scenario:


2g) Plausible deniability gaff in purporting a 'missing' captured explosives dump early in the war, securing the unknown parameter of false attribution to cover anti-matter infiltration and slews of fatalities.

2h) Magnitude and pressure gradient curve of time-x-space compression and expansion of the ballistics damage, high kill ratios, unusual fragmentation of bodies; planted conventional misleads such as unburnt cordite or powder residues.

2i) Unknowns involving the complexity of quark gluon plasma chain reactions, hypernuclei, or even the threat of triggering catalytic continuations in the natural elemental background constituents with perhaps quite literally an open ended scale of potential catastrophe--same with the discovery of plasma vortex formation in high speed photography of early nuclear fireball evolution, the threat of igniting the atmosphere was confirmed early on in the atomic bomb tests. The ozone hole, possibly resulting from the ill-fated SDI air burst of chained megaton h-bombs (ca 1950s S. Pacific) were not performed on the surface of the ocean where massive turbulence from the blast could damp out the potential of such vorticity, it resulted in a hemispheric plasma storm, quite possibly a good chunk of the ozone layer being combusted exactly as feared and warned.

3a) Counter-intelligence campaigns of war propaganda, i.e. the ridiculously hyped media circus that has been dogging the anticipated startup, a court brief filed in Hawaii claiming it is dangerous science that will end the world, web and news media traffic about the device creating a black hole or black hole research being its secret objective, capturing the physics at the big bang threshold of 10^19 billion electron volts--not even close.

The point being to hold the public in a pretense of suspense the facility is not up and running and has not been up and running or that CERN hasn't really been up to much of anything of the sort depicted in the fictional novel "Angels and Demons" by Dan Brown.

3b) Then again, Dan Brown, seeming to be among the favorite children of DOD fiction spin-offs like Michael Crichton, doesn't quite sell his story straight either, perhaps constructing artful disguises that in reality would throw off detection of the real thing.. Authors like Brown and Crichton are used for those purposes, like "State of Fear", the book prefacing the 12/04 Bengal Tsunami with an artificial tsunami plot, plugged in the press just four days before. The 'eco-terrorist' counter-intel buzzword.

3c) The need for routinization of a military strike capability left in Iraq even if it has to be a cruel disguise, for death tolls on demand, even increasing for political pressure nearing the election seasons over the past years.

3d) A public left quite baffled by the suggestion that armored military transports and vehicles would not have protection or adequate shielding; suggesting that designed for protection has been defeated somehow, by what we can't know.

4a) The whole opening up of the strategic materials can of worms while they're at it--materials which do not behave conventionally.

4b) Playing with that compartment in the Air Force to bring about staff rotations and take a media intimation poke at China vis a vis Taiwan.

4c) ...same rat fink Norton Schwartz ushered into the AF Chief's position was tied up in the Iran-Hostage rescue mission sabotage and the latest nyookyilur mishandles...bad monkey...<monkey alarm condition red>...

..as expected, there is no interest allowed nor shown by the cyber-incommunicado cloned-page shunt, bot rotisserie of the completely paranoid police state information control freak administrative internet governance/commercial 'politically correct banality only' policy enforcement. Science fiction was all the rage from the media spin casters regarding the Hadron collider's big "debut", but unless the mass boob-media's lead is followed directly, no further thinking processes have been issued a permit. Dan Brown, a noted celebrity author during the big 'da Vinci Code' thing--imminent conversation material for the chowderhead media, he could've been invited to commentate with the talking heads about the CERN matter, yukking up the spook factor to high imagination regarding his other, religious bent novel "Angels and Demons". But no'no'no' nooo'no, the Mommy Dearest state media planners aren't going there. And thus the bad child, silent treatment, to be put in a box of virtual connectivity regulated by fatuously evil morons thinking they're fooling anyone--hence the new logo seen on Writingindependence.

Note the new post from "kelly" signaling the name "Dan Ryder" as the new and more appropriate author or personality up for discussion, something about the famous Mind-Body problem, though without the educational depth to realize its close association to the A.I. question.. That's what you get with soft headed big-city, leisure caste. Oh well.. It must be impossible to find an intelligent conversation partner up there on the 72nd floor.

Where is the frivolous brief anyway, can't the public have a look?

What inaction on the part of the Bush regime is it trying to hide, like trillions of defense dollars carted away to build it and then buy its dirty secret anti-matter bombs? Where's the U.S. Energy Policy Cheney absconded with from the beginning? How many accounts for CERN are in it? How many for Blackwater vis a vis the Swiss government?

Not an international court.

Where is the legal synthesis in the brief to tie together the U.S. government and obligations laid out in legislation whereby claims can be made to the federal system by the public to sue for willful and endangering negligence or violation of enacted scientific safeguards, or provisions warranting the concomitant intervention or withdrawal of support regarding funding from the government to foreign governments in the arena of high energy physics? What are the latitudes of oversight the government must answer for in either case, as third party or uninvolved or in some other conflict of interest regarding our national and world security in the substantive declaration against interest being made by the litigants?

Are their men and women (sons, daughters, husbands, wives)choosing to serve, being sent into a bb'by trap they are deliberately left uninformed and untrained to engage as a fighting force? Is that bb'y trap a violation of the Geneva Convention--of course it is. Is that prospecting, soliciting and recruitment of volunteers to kill with that trap a federal crime--of course it is and then some; it is also a military crime under Title 10 and its own jurisdiction. Is it not straight up fratricide without a chance in a deathtrap other than the probability of simply surviving a massive explosion, scheduled in advance, on orders of routes to proceed and not deviate from, and preconfigured to isolate the U.S. as the target of preference with the foreknowledge of its nature, deployment, and utility in the conflict residing in the chain of U.S. command—thus its permissions through whatever carrier and implementer contracted to play a shadow asymmetric intermediary catalyst to inflame the conquest against peasants holding rifles? And on into Afghanistan and Pakistan and even Georgia, even incurring a military response from Russia.

This is U.N. Security Council level cause at issue, not the Bush Company or their hollowed out renovation of U.S. state level bodies. This is where NATO’s naughty has to receive the peer pressure of its global security partners. How far are they going to provoke the Former Soviet Union in broad daylight, with a scheme of preemptive deception based on a technology imported from Geneva’s backyard?

Conscripting U.S. citizens to fight a privatized entity's conflict overseas and be thus routinely used for live combat weapons experimentation or a duped commodity of kill quotas without any evidentiary strings attached or a source for which to take the prosecution of war’s reprisals; and with an unknown or untraceable source of destructive power resulting in massive loss of life; and in order to purport a justifiable cause for war to the Congress, that it remains a threat or exists as so described and attributed, whereas it may be concealed in an elaborate triangulation as far as Switzerland's CERN particle physics laboratories. As it is verbatim forward grey propaganda in print, by a widely published source in a manner typical of ablative suggestion to misinform the public and lend an automatic air of incredulity to the subject or its possibilities or potential threat--so that when mention is made or questions go asked the response simply reclines on the scapegoat it is a fiction.

That abc show BL, was a case about a family objecting to the ambiguous nature of their brother/son, soldier’s death in unexplained or unsubstantiated circumstances.
